Hey there, I am Cem. I am 21 years old and in my third year of International Business. I really liked the study programme so far and I am especially enjoying the quantitative courses. As some of you might remember, I also tutored QM 1 and looking forward to the second part next year. From my own experience I know that a lot of students fear numbers and struggle once it comes to complicated exercises. I want to take that fear away and make you guys more confident when facing assignments and the exam. Together we will overcome these obstacles and boost your grades!
Hi everyone! I'm a fourth year IBEB student as well as the student ambassador of my program. After 2 years in IBEB, I have realized that the most critical part of this program is the quick progression of blocks and courses which makes it even more difficult to get into the detailed depth and theoretical backgrounds of the courses. However, I have always believed in transforming such complications into simpler steps and this approach has always helped me in understanding difficult theoretical concepts. These general steps can be applied to several exam type questions, eventually enabling an individual to score a high grade in that particular course. Subjects like Accounting, Math, Micro-economics, Macro-economics and Stats are the ones where my strength lies. If you need such easy approaches to get good grades in these courses, you can definitely contact me. Languages: English, Urdu/Hindi
Hi there! My name is Ferdi and I’m a third year Economics Student. I am tutoring since high school, and during my first year I was helping out my fellow students. Last year I got appointed as one of the QM1 and QM2 tutors for University. I really enjoy the economic subjects as well as all quantitative based courses. I am currently on track to become the first Economics and Business Economics Summa Cum Laude Student in SBE history. I think that I can help you to sufficiently master the course and get ready for the exam, since I definitely master the content of the courses on a good level and I feel confident in breaking it down into intuitive ways to explain it. I’m looking forward to work together with you!
Hi! I am Lukas and I am currently studying EBE in my first year. I started explaining contents to fellow students in high school already and now, after my first exams in Maastricht, I feel confident enough to give you clear insights especially on the topics of Microeconomics and QM1. Even though I had a gap year before coming to Uni I got to apply my knowledge in mathematics on those courses easily after refreshing. Thus, I know that it will take time and times of frustration to prepare and pass but I ensure you that we together will find a way to achieve a better final grade than you`d have expected!
Hi everyone! My name is Sanne and I am a second year IBA student. So far, I successfully completed all courses and I am looking forward helping you to do the same. My aim as a tutor is to make sure you enter your exams confidently by developing a profound understanding of the main concepts. I am a patient person and able to explain concepts in several ways. My strengths are especially quantitative subjects such as Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Management (averages above 9). Furthermore, I am fluent in both English and Dutch. Hey everyone, I am Selma, a 2nd year IBEB student. While studying at EUR, I have further developed my critical and analytical skills and I am here to help you do the same in an easy and fun way. In my opinion, the student-tutor relationship should be seen more as a partnership in order to make learning interesting and efficient at the same time. Together, we will work to make sure that you achieve the desired results, by finding a study strategy that will suit you best. After having explained all the needed material in detail, we will put a lot of emphasis on practicing, so you feel confident and relaxed for the exam. I am looking forward to working together!
Hello everyone! My name is George. I am Russian and I am currently a second year IBEB student. What can you expect from me as your tutor? I am highly reliable and dependable. When I commit to something, it means that I deliver. So, if you become my student, you will improve your academic performance whether you like it or not ☺ Moreover, I am very respectful to my fellow students. I have already gained a reputation of “go to” person since I am keen to explain concepts that are difficult to understand without making others feel inferior. I am sure that such an attitude will help my students develop confidence and feel encouraged to ask and learn.
Hey everyone, my name is Julia and I’m a 2nd year IBA student. I’ve been born and raised in Austria and have now enjoyed my first year as an expat in Rotterdam. I would describe myself as ambitious and hard-working, and I am passionate about helping others to achieve their full potential. Throughout my academic career, helping others understanding concepts was an essential part of my everyday student life. Also, I believe that anyone is capable of learning what they want, if they are encouraged by people who believe in them. I am looking forward to helping you achieve your full potential!
My name is Martino and I’m an Italian IBA student. My multicultural upbringing and my ability to speak four languages allows me to effectively communicate with students from different backgrounds. From a young age I always excelled in mathematical subjects, therefore I always tried to help my friends with their work, since teaching allowed me to learn theories effectively and because helping others greatly satisfies me. My belief is that everyone learns concepts differently, therefore my goal as a tutor will not only be to teach you certain subjects, but also to find the most efficient learning method for you.
I am Colin, currently a second year IBEB student. Apart from studying hard, I believe efficient studying is key. For many students that sign up for Grade Boost a lack of willingness to study is not the problem. However, often their efforts just have to be guided in the right direction. I aim to help students understand rather than solely memorize the study material and do so by giving clear explanations, examples and tips or tricks. Furthermore, since each student is different, I use a personalized approach. I am positive this will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to obtain your desired result. Also, I try to achieve a pleasant atmosphere with those I am teaching. Everyone should feel comfortable asking as many questions as they want. I am a patient and easy-going person and I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals. Feel free to contact me! Languages: English and Dutch.
I am Jeroen, a third year cum laude student from The Netherlands. I have always had a passion for learning and gaining new insights in topics I’m interested in. My goal is to enable you to achieve your goals academically by providing a friendly and inspiring learning environment, with which I have hundreds of hours of experience and for which have received strictly postive reviews. I would be honoured if you would allow me to help you with your studies.
Hey! My name is Jonas. I am 19 years old and currently completing the second year of my studies in International Business. I will be helping you out with QMI and QMII. During my first year at Maastricht University, these courses grabbed my attention in a special way. I have always been excited about mathematics and, therefore, specialized in it during high school. My goal is to explain difficult topics in the most comprehensive way to take your anxiety and frustration about mathematics. I want you to understand the fundamentals on which everything is based on, so that you become capable of mastering forthcoming quantitative problems without panicking. I am looking forward to seeing you soon.
Hey my name is Leander! I'm a 3rd year International Business student here in Maastricht. I've been working as a tutor for Grade Boost since 2016 and will focus on the courses QM1 and QM2, since I achieved good results and enjoyed both of these modules. I would describe myself as a very patient, tolerant, and confident person, who doesn’t hesitate to socialise and engage with other people. I am looking forward to help you with your difficulties and show you how to effectively achieve better results!
1. Hey guys! I am Thomas and currently studying International Business in my second year at the Maastricht University. Especially, the quantitative as well as economic courses caught my interest and raised my passion. Thus, I am confident that I can share my knowledge with you and help improving your skills in these courses. For me personally, it’s important to understand the essence behind the concepts and not just learning these by heart since it’s the wrong way to tackle quantitative tasks. Becoming acquainted with the logic will help you master the course and excel in the exam.
My name is Bibi and I am in my first year of Economics and Business Economics. I am born and raised here in Rotterdam. I really enjoyed practicing all the courses this year. Preparation is eventually everything. When I have a test I am always 100 % prepared. I want to help you prepare the same way, so you will also make your test with great confidence. I am looking forward working with you to improve your economic skills.
I am Benedikt, a third year IBA student. I enjoy studying IBA a lot and would love to help you enjoy it more, too. My personal key to success is reading the books, preferably way ahead of time. This, together with strong motivation and the ability to understand the concepts easily, helped me achieve my goals. I will be happy to help you deal with any problems you encounter! To me, everyone is different and has a different way of reaching their goals. Together, we can find your way and make sure that you go into your exams more confidently!

Hey! I’m Puya and I’m a second year International Business student in Maastricht. I really enjoyed my first year of my studies thanks to a majority of interesting courses. But especially, I enjoyed the quantitative courses as I have always been acquainted when dealing with figures. Moreover, I love to share my knowledge and skills by supporting other students who need some help. Many students are afraid of quantitative courses due to bad past experiences but I am convinced that everyone can make it. It just needs time, practice & the right tutor! I am looking forward to be your tutor & help you achieving your goals!
Hey guys! My name is Roberto and I am currently studying International Business in my second year. During high school I already started to help my fellow students with their studies, which I continued to do in my first year here in Maastricht as well. As I am generally passionate about quantitative courses such as QM1 and QM2, I am confident in helping you to aim for a good grade in these subjects. I am a calm and patient person who knows that the topics in such courses sometimes seem overwhelming. Still I believe that everyone can master the content successfully with the right approach. I am looking forward to support you.
Hey! My name is Sven, I am 22 years old and I am a second year European Studies Bachelor Student. I am enthusiastic about the program and I hope that I can show you that studying can also be fun, when pursued with the right approach and the right guidance. This is what I am here for. So, if you are struggling with paper writing in Social Sciences, or if you may not grasp the theories and concepts discussed in your courses, I am more than happy to help you out. In particular, I will discuss with you what is exam relevant, so what reoccurred in the exams in the past years. By giving you guidance on the relevant things and what to study, you will be well prepared for your exams in order to achieve the results you set yourself.
Hey everyone, My name is Nicklas, 22 years old and I´m currently a second year International Business student at SBE. I am offering private tutoring session in accounting as a tutor from GradeBoost. I successfully managed the course in the first year myself. From my first year I enjoyed the quantitative courses probably the most, especially Accounting. Beyond the scope of the first year course I have further experience with the content of accounting through my two year apprenticeship for a large bank in Germany. I believe that this practical knowledge for the content helped me from the beginning on to better understand the topics which I believe can be sometimes a bit overly theoretical. I believe that everyone can understand the concept of accounting with the right guidance from the right tutor. I want to give you this guidance with easy to understand explanations. I believe if you once understand the overall concept of accounting you will never have fundamental issues with any accounting-related content. I will be patient with you and will try to show you tricks and shortcuts how to better approach questions. Besides the private tutoring sessions I will be in charge of the course classes for Accounting in Week 5 & 6 of this period.
Hey! My name is Rosa, I am a second year International Business Student. Previously to studying here in Maastricht, I studied one Semester at California State University San Marcos specialized in Economics and Law. I am a 22-year-old Master's student (CEMS at RSM), who has finished IBEB with excellent results last year. While studying subjects such as Economics and Further Mathematics at Boston College in the UK, I have learned to approach complicated concepts in a much simpler way. Being always curious of why specific things occur I have gained a greater insight into the subjects learnt during the demanding course of IBEB. Studying has been always on the first place among my activities. Moreover, I believe that through hard work, perseverance and a lot of practice the desired goals can be attained. Therefore, together we can and will find the best approach that suits you and surely achieve the aimed results. Languages: English, Romanian, Russian. Languages: English, Romanian, Russian.
Hi. I am Andreea, a third year IBEB student, originally for Romania, but I spent a few years prior to my bachelor studies in Belgium. Throughout my first two years at Erasmus, I have come to notice that every course requires a different approach and all students learn differently. Having recently been through the courses also means that I know what the main issues are and how to prepare for each individual exam. My aim is to offer everyone the chance to understand the topics in the best way for their own needs, and then, of course, practice until perfect Languages: English, German, Romanian
Hey! I am Vytas and I am 20. I am currently studying Economics & Business Economics. My specialisation is International Business Economics as I am highly passionate about Finance and Accounting. We will go step by step through all the problems and questions that you will have until you feel confident and happy about the subject.
Hi everyone you can call me Zack. I am half-Bulgarian, half-Indian and this is my fifth year living as an International. Currently I am a Master student following the Accounting & Finance tack, specialized in courses with econometrics,, risk management, corporate finance and forensic accounting . During the last years, I have been practicing my skills in performing technical analyses and expanding my quantitative horizon rather than just discussing the trade theory. Thus, math will not be an issue when we study together. Honors class is another program in which I really improved my general knowledge and the way to make hard things look easy. Moreover, I used to be an actor for 8 years, thus explaining new and difficult topics, and interacting with you will also not be an issue. I really look forward to helping you all and working with you.
I am Christiaan van den Berg, a third year BSc2 Econometrics and Economics student from the Netherlands. For me, the beauty of studying at a university lies in understanding topics thoroughly rather than in just learning tricks that temporarily allow one to pass an exam. I believe that by building a strong basis, skills learned in one course will simplify and clarify other courses as well. This way, you will work on a framework that enhances your overall understanding of your entire curriculum, which makes it much more fun. By taking a personal approach and following your pace, I would love to help you achieve this. All I need from you: a bit of motivation!
I am Jasmin Schade, 20 years old, from Germany. Currently, I am studying International Business in my 2nd year. So far, I have always been successful in achieving good grades. I especially liked QM I, II and III, as I have always been interested in maths and statistics. Being successful in your studies and passing the courses with good grades are a result on how well you were able to interact with the subject matter. What works for one person might not work for the other. As a tutor at Grade Boost, my first priorities are to help you finding out where to start and helping you to really understand the content to make you successfully pass the exam.
Hey, I am Christian (21 years old) and I am studying Economics in the third year. My experience with tutoring reach back to high school, where I was teaching pupils in mathematics and business administration. Luckily, I had very nice students and could really enjoy giving private lessons. But most importantly, I could improve my students understanding of the subject matter by giving them alternative approaches to handle diverse problems. I even learned a lot myself from tutoring as my own understanding was challenged by the different ideas of my students. Now I am in my final semester of my Bachelor`s degree and I decided to join the tutor network Grade Boost through which I hope to meet (and rescue) a large variety of students. I am offering lessons in Macro and Quantitative Business. I personally liked these courses a lot and completed them successfully with a 9.5. I am looking forward to prepare you for Mr. Kerckhoffs! Tutoring the courses: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics
Hey, my name is Sophie and I am 20 years old and currently in my 2nd year of the International Business programme. I started working as a tutor for Grade Boost in the beginning of 2017. I would like to share my passion for quantitative courses and knowledge with you by helping you to understand the frameworks and concepts and further support you while practicing the newly gained knowledge. Looking forward to meet and help you!
My name is Pogliano. Andrea Pogliano. When I started studying Economics and Business Economics last year, my principal ambition was to be remarkable. Now that I am well on my way, I want to pave your way of success. Having recently overcome the struggle of the first year, I am well acquainted with any subject matter or problem that you will encounter. I have always been quick at grasping and slow at forgetting the economic theory, therefore, I am well versed in this obscure art. Alongside my knowledge, I am also a trickmaster. I will show you all the shortcuts to put the tick in the right box, I will teach you the timesavers for the most intricate problems, I will forge with you the weapons with which you will face your struggle. Hence, don't hesitate to call my name, I will be more than happy to help you out.
I am a second-year IBEB student, and with my help I'm sure you will become one as well. To fit many activities and sports into my personal life, it has always been important for me to find an efficient way of studying and understanding things. Therefore, it will be my objective to equip you with methods that help you to understand subjects and really get to their core instead of just providing you with solutions from week to week. Furthermore, I am well prepared on all the course matters of first year and know all the tricks to obtain good results, without sacrificing a healthy party life. I am easy going and friendly and I´ll for sure create an environment in which you can study in the most relaxed yet productive way.
Hi, I’m Robert, 19 years old, German and currently in my second year of International Business at the SBE. After graduating from high school, I already gained teaching experience giving English classes at a university in Indonesia. It was during this time that I realized I truly enjoy helping others and seeing them progress while reaching their goals. I learned to be patient and flexible with students since not all are able to study in the same way or at the same pace. I am confident that I can answer your questions, provide meaningful guidance but most importantly explain all relevant topics and the structure of difficult courses. The latter is highly important so you understand how the different concepts build on each other in order to master the exam.
Hey, I’m Iva and I am a 3rd year IB student, specializing in Marketing, and I would love to help you succeed on your exam! Last year I was a tutor for QM1 and QM2 for the University, which gives me a great perspective of first, how to explain all those hard concepts to the first year students and second, what is most important for crashing the exam. I tremendously enjoy teaching, I am really enthusiastic about Statistics and Mathematics, and a patient person who will explain everything you need. Whether you just have a couple of question, or you want me to help you prepare for the exam, don’t hesitate to contact me and I will do my best for your success.
Hey, my name is Evie. I’m 20 years old, from the Netherlands and studying Economics in my third year. Last year I became a tutor for Grade Boost and enjoyed every moment of it, it’s a lot of fun to work together especially when I saw the progress students were making. Hey! My name is Anika, I’m 20 years old and a second year IB student from Germany. In the past year, I realized how important it is to find your own most efficient way of studying. As I had a lot of success in achieving this, I would like to help you now to find your best way of being successful. I particularly enjoy quantitative courses and I am also really experienced in teaching those as I used to offer private tutoring lessons in math before my start in Maastricht since I was 15 years old. Therefore, I am sure that with my support, you can feel better about complicated formulas and calculations. In this context, it is really important for me to note that it is about you - that’s why I strive for tutor lessons that are tailored your problems. I hope I earned your trust and I am looking forward to help you!

You’ll see, it is not as hard as you think. Looking forward to meeting you!! Jana Languages: German & English
Hey, my name is Fabio; I am 21 years old and currently in my second year of International Business. During my first year of IB I regularly helped my fellow students with their problems on quantitative matters. I realised that it not only helps me to fully internalise and understand the subjects but that I enjoy helping others. I have always been interested in the quantitative parts of our studies and since I was quite successful in those over the first year, I am sure that I can help you succeed at those subjects as well. My goal for you is not only to pass the exam but to truly understand the topics at hand and therefore to achieve a good result. I am looking forward to meeting you!
I am Assel, a second year IBA student. Always achieving high results in Mathematics-related courses and being a prize-winner of the International Olympiads, I have a solid foundation and knowledge in quantitative subjects. I believe that full understanding of the concepts is the most important when studying. Moreover, from my own experience, I know that students have different ways of understanding and studying the material. Therefore, I am approachable, open for questions and able to patiently explain the concepts several times using different approaches. Sessions will be customized for your personal learning style. I would be very happy to help you to overcome all difficulties and succeed in your courses!
Hi! I am Tony, a second year IBA student, from the Czech Republic but with Vietnamese ancestry. My approach to studying consists of breaking down the subject matter into several key concepts, understanding them, and thereafter focusing on the topics emphasised by the professor. Hence, I consider past exams a vital part of exam preparation as they provide a good indication of the coming exam. Throughout my first year as an IBA student, I have helped many of my peers, and even organised an Operations Management re-sit preparation course which the participants found very helpful. I believe that with perseverance and hard work any desirable outcome could be achieved. As your tutor, you should expect me to do whatever it takes to get you the aspired grade since I consider your achievement a reflection of my work as well.
Hey! I’m Nicolas, a third year IB student majoring in Finance. I have been a tutor for Grade Boost for a year which led me to help many students and become an experienced tutor. Throughout my bachelor, I have enjoyed and excelled in quantitative subjects. Indeed, I scored a 10 in QMI, QMII and the skills' QMIII. With my experience and mastery of the courses, I am confident I can help you reach your goals by breaking down concepts in smaller more understandable parts and giving you all the tips you need to succeed. You can expect me to always be enthusiastic and patient. I am looking forward to making the courses you dread fun! Languages: Spanish, French & English
My name is Antonio, I come from Italy and I am currently studying IBA2 as well as Philosophy (double degree). My first year was challenging, but it helped me develop an analytic approach to studying. My secret is to truly understand concepts and ideas behind theories. As a tutor, do not expect me to reveal some obscure secrets to pass an exam! I will teach you how to connect theory and practice and how to effectively apply your knowledge. This requires a strong cooperation from both sides: all you need is some motivation! I will create a friendly environment where I can get to know your strengths and weaknesses in order to find the best approach for you. And remember: nothing is impossible!
My name is Layanne Elboreini and I am a second year IBA student. In my previous experience tutoring, I learnt that there are three types of students: those who understand the content, those who don’t understand, and those who think they understand but struggle when applying the knowledge themselves. I’m here to bridge the gap between the three. I believe in hands-on learning and a step-by-step approach to teaching. This, together with a lot of interaction from both sides is how I tailor my teaching approach to your learning needs and goals. Thus, I rely on your input and problem-solving skills to understand your level and focus on your weak points to give you an effective learning experience. Practice is perfect and interaction is key!
I am Philip, a second year IBA student and I am looking forward to help you preparing for the Corporate Finance exams. I have a passion for finance and also pursue this interest outside of the classroom. Furthermore, I already worked as a private tutor for Mathematics and English in High School and really enjoyed helping others. I think working on challenges together is more fun and rehearsing the material in an interactive way will help you to achieve your goals. I am looking forward to productive lessons!
Hi, my name is Julius. I am German, 20 years old and currently in my second year of international business. I always used to help my friends with topics they had problems with and I noticed that it actually helped them and also me in understanding the topics better and more thoroughly. Thus, I decided to help other students in getting a better understanding of the content of the course. I will do my best to prepare you for the exam by providing examples and ways that will make it easier to remember and really understand the topic.
Hello, my name is Bahadir, 19 years old and from Turkey. I am a second year IB student who accomplished a good first year through efficient studying and some valuable exam solving techniques. During the first year, I mostly enjoyed quantitative courses and tried to help out my fellow students by explaining the concepts or solving their questions. A very effective teaching approach in my opinion is to give hints about the solution, rather than telling a pre-solved way of the problem. Knowledge gained through this approach is much easier to remember than learning it by heart. I am open for individual requests about concept explanations as well as question solving.
Hi! My name is Fabrice van Roozendaal, I am a third year BSc² econometrics/economics student. I spent most of my life in Belgium as a Dutchy, and now I am here in Rotterdam! The basics of good results lie in understanding and practice. Practice speaks for itself, but understanding is difficult, and different for everybody, especially the road to understanding, something I will help you with! I will be happy to teach you the tools and skills needed to perform well, so you can expand your achievements to the rest of your study. Don’t hesitate to contact me as I’m more than happy to help you. I look forward to working towards your success together!
Hi everyone. I am Bryan, a second-year, honours class IBA student from France. In my experience, I have noticed that understanding can have several meanings. Not only do students adopt various approaches to learning, which are more or less successful, but also different notions require different methods. This is why I believe that there is no magic study formula but that concentration and perseverance are key. On top of that, developing efficient automatisms can really make a difference. This is where I intervene: I am convinced that I can provide you with the tools necessary for your success! Furthermore, adapting my teaching style to your specific needs and difficulties will ensure the best strategy for your progress. Backed by two years of tutoring in high school, I will make sure that my teaching lives up to, or even exceeds, your expectations.
Hello everyone! I love to swim and I love to cook my own food. Born and raised in the Italian Alps, I got curious about exploring the world and I decided to stop the journey in Maastricht. I am a second year Economics student specializing in the field of Emerging Markets. Quantitative Methods have been my favourite subjects at university so far, which is why I would be eager to teach Maths and Stats and spread my enthusiasm about it over to you. Hope to meet you soon!
Hey guys, My name is David, I am 20 years old, and in my final semester of the BSc International Business program majoring in Finance. This period, I will offer private sessions for the first year IB course Finance 1.5. Given that I achieved the highest grades obtained in all Finance courses until now and had the chance to cement my knowledge during my exchange semester at UC Berkeley, I am convinced to be able to boost your grade! During sessions, I will take a student-focused approach, which involves a commitment from you as well: I will ask you to assess what particular concepts you have problems with and prepare tasks to discuss with me. This will help you become clear what you still need to improve and aids the process of effectively tackling your problems. While tutoring, I will pay particular attention to explaining the intuition behind concepts and formulas so that it will not lead to stupid “Learn-how-to-plug-in-numbers-in-formulas”. I would be more than happy to help you out and look forward to all of your requests! I will be available every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. See you soon!
Hi guys! My name is Sanne and I’m currently in my second year of IBEB. I am from the Netherlands, so I can tutor in Dutch and English. My experience with teaching is rather extensive, having tutored in high school as well as worked as a teaching assistant for the university. I am very patient and will adapt my way of teaching to your needs as much as possible. Having only recently studied the subjects of the first year, I remember the material and the best approach to grasp it well. I am confident that together we can get you a good grade in your courses. I look forward to meeting and guiding you!
Hi, my name is Amandine and I am a second year IB student from Belgium. I discovered my passion for tutoring last year, as I spent a lot of time answering questions of fellow students at the library and started giving private courses of QM2. I have been happily selected as a QM tutor at the SBE and I can’t wait to live this experience. Sharing my understanding of the courses with other students, helping them believe in their abilities and achieving their goals is a pleasure for me. I believe that I have the keys to make you understand the intuition behind the concepts, pass your exam easily and start enjoying the courses you’re struggling with. Your goal becomes also mine the second we start working together! I’m looking forward to helping you Languages: French & English
Hi, my name is Titus, I come from Frankfurt in Germany and I am 19 years old. I am in my second year of the EBE (Economics) Bachelor and would love to help and tutor you if you struggle with the courses QM1, QM2 or Finance. In all these courses I scored a 10 in the exam. I will do my best to help you so that you can pass (hopefully even enjoy) the courses instead of fearing them. I look forward to get to know you, Titus Languages: German & English
Hey! I am Cedric, a second year Economics student specializing in Economics. Quantitative courses were by far my favourite ones in the first year, I had a 10 both in QM1 and QM2. I am used to helping people out in those subjects as I helped all my friends in the library when I was in my first year! I really enjoyed sharing my knowledge in both math and statistics and would love to continue helping people out. So I hope to see you soon! Languages: Dutch, French & English
Hello ! I’m Hélène, a third year Economics student (Honours Programme) majoring in Finance (IBE). I believe teaching is a great way to help people and bring them the satisfaction of succeeding in their studies. Once I understand a course, I really enjoy learning it and explaining it to my fellow students. I am confident I can help you achieve your goals and master your courses. I would be happy to guide you in English, French, Dutch or German depending on your preferences. Feel free to contact me to discuss your objectives.
Hey everyone! My name is Ansgar, I’m 21 and currently in my second year Econometrics & Operations Research (a very small group of 69 crazy students). I recently joined Grade Boost as I realized that I really enjoy helping others to understand economic and quantitative concepts. My study program consists mostly of mathematical courses such as Analysis 1 and 2, Probability Theory and Linear Algebra, but I also did well in economics and finance. Therefore I’m glad to help you survive the pain of QM 1 and 2, Macro- and Microeconomics as well as Finance. Due to the strong mathematical emphasis of my courses, I can give you further insights and super helpful tips and tricks to solve even more complicated problems. I’m a fan of being productive and really trying to tackle a problem – one thing will not come short though – and that is having fun! The success will then come automatically. I’m looking forward to get to know you!
Hi, my name is Simon, I am a French BSc IBA 2nd year student at RSM. I believe that every student has different approaches in terms of learning, and that difficulties differ a lot amongst students. Some students are more visual, others need clear explanations, or some others need to do it themselves etc. The key to optimally teach students is to understand their approaches and use it to clearly understand the courses. Through hard work, enthusiasm and lots of energy, I believe that I can fruitfully teach the chosen courses, in adapting the learning to process according to the skills of the student. I am energetic, positivist and hardworking, and I am looking forward to helping you reach your goals. Feel free to contact me at any time.
I am an American/Turkish second year IBEB student. Having been in an international environment my whole life, I understand that everyone is unique with different backgrounds, experiences and personalities and therefore also learn in different ways. I am confident that I will adapt to your needs, and we will find a way that works best for you to create a comfortable learning environment. I am efficient and effective with my studying as I love to fill my life with fun experiences and activities outside of education, and I’m sure that you don’t want to spend the majority of your “student” life studying either
Hi everyone! My name is Louise and I am a second year IBA student from Denmark. I believe that everyone studies and learn in different ways. Sometimes students just need a little guidance to figure out what way works the best for them. I believe that I can help find the best way for you to learn and understand the required material to pass your classes. The best part of university is that you have enough time to thoroughly learn the concepts and deepen your understanding, so that you can use the information in the future. It is no longer just about learning to pass. I believe that I can help you make the concepts stick, which will benefit you in the future

Hello everyone! My name is Luca and I am a second year BSc2 Econometrics and Economics student at ESE. Besides being a student, I am also a TA for the university in Introduction to Analysis and Analysis and I love to be active within the associations that I am part of. Thanks to both the experience as teaching assistant with the university and my previous experience as personal tutor, I have learnt the best ways to help students understanding the basic mathematical/theoretical concepts behind a certain topic so that, afterwards, the student is able to build their knowledge based on them and, of course, apply them. In this way, the student really comprehends the subject and studying becomes more effective and faster! I strongly believe I can be of good help for any mathematical/statistical first year course. I am easy going and I can easily understand the level of knowledge of the student I am working with in order to adjust my approach and to create the best learning environment possible. I can teach in both English and Italian.
Hello! My name is Camille, I come from France, and I am a second-year IBA student. To my mind, tutoring is a form of altruism. At Erasmus University, we are like a big family and students need to help each other to pass every course and graduate. Other students are not competitors but friends who should support each other, and on who you should count on if you have some difficulties. Each student has its own pace of learning, and my role as a tutor is to understand your strengths and weaknesses to improve your academic performance, as well as your motivation to study! In high-school I was in both situations, tutor and tutee, so I already have some experience in tutoring, and I also know what students usually expect from tutors. When students encounter issues with specific concepts, I like finding creative ways to explain these notions to them. Finally, I am patient, curious and I have a lot of enthusiasm. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need some help!
Hey everyone! My name is Philip, I am a second year IBA student from the Netherlands. During my first year, I learned that people apply different methods to study the content. Sometimes it can be hard to find the right method to study. I believe that I can help you find the method that suits you best. During our meetings, I will find out what works best for you and will explain the content and help you accordingly. Furthermore, I am an enthusiastic, hardworking, organized, and understanding person, who will support you and help you pass your exams. As a result, you will be better prepared for the exams, and still be able to enjoy student life, which is more than just studying.
