Hey there, I am Cem. I am 21 years old and in my third year of International Business. I really liked the study programme so far and I am especially enjoying the quantitative courses. As some of you might remember, I also tutored QM 1 and looking forward to the second part next year. From my own experience I know that a lot of students fear numbers and struggle once it comes to complicated exercises. Hi everyone! I'm a fourth year IBEB student as well as the student ambassador of my program. After 2 years in IBEB, I have realized that the most critical part of this program is the quick progression of blocks and courses which makes it even more difficult to get into the detailed depth and theoretical backgrounds of the courses. However, I have always believed in transforming such complications into simpler steps and this approach has always helped me in understanding difficult theoretical concepts. These general steps can be applied to several exam type questions, eventually enabling an individual to score a high grade in that particular course. Subjects like Accounting, Math, Micro-economics, Macro-economics and Stats are the ones where my strength lies. Hi there! My name is Ferdi and I’m a third year Economics Student. I am tutoring since high school, and during my first year I was helping out my fellow students. Hey everyone, My name is Nicklas, 22 years old and I´m currently a second year International Business student at SBE. I am offering private tutoring session in accounting as a tutor from GradeBoost. I successfully managed the course in the first year myself. From my first year I enjoyed the quantitative courses probably the most, especially Accounting. Beyond the scope of the first year course I have further experience with the content of accounting through my two year apprenticeship for a large bank in Germany. I believe that this practical knowledge for the content helped me from the beginning on to better understand the topics which I believe can be sometimes a bit overly theoretical. Hi everyone you can call me Zack. I am half-Bulgarian, half-Indian and this is my fifth year living as an International. Currently I am a Master student following the Accounting & Finance tack, specialized in courses with econometrics,, risk management, corporate finance and forensic accounting . During the last years, I have been practicing my skills in performing technical analyses and expanding my quantitative horizon rather than just discussing the trade theory. Hey, I am Christian (21 years old) and I am studying Economics in the third year. My experience with tutoring reach back to high school, where I was teaching pupils in mathematics and business administration. Hi! I am Tony, a second year IBA student, from the Czech Republic but with Vietnamese ancestry. My approach to studying consists of breaking down the subject matter into several key concepts, understanding them, and thereafter focusing on the topics emphasised by the professor. Hence, I consider past exams a vital part of exam preparation as they provide a good indication of the coming exam. Throughout my first year as an IBA student, I have helped many of my peers, and even organised an Operations Management re-sit preparation course which the participants found very helpful. Hello, my name is Bahadir, 19 years old and from Turkey. I am a second year IB student who accomplished a good first year through efficient studying and some valuable exam solving techniques. During the first year, I mostly enjoyed quantitative courses and tried to help out my fellow students by explaining the concepts or solving their questions. A very effective teaching approach in my opinion is to give hints about the solution, rather than telling a pre-solved way of the problem. Hey guys, My name is David, I am 20 years old, and in my final semester of the BSc International Business program majoring in Finance. This period, I will offer private sessions for the first year IB course Finance 1.5. Given that I achieved the highest grades obtained in all Finance courses until now and had the chance to cement my knowledge during my exchange semester at UC Berkeley, I am convinced to be able to boost your grade! During sessions, I will take a student-focused approach, which involves a commitment from you as well: I will ask you to assess what particular concepts you have problems with and prepare tasks to discuss with me.
